But not only work is essential while staying in a new and interesting place. Knowing this, guys from the IAESTE Russian Committee never forgot to send trainees invitations to different breathtaking events. But the company activity I liked most of all were the Big Games Russian for company in Aachen. IAESTE trainees, who came to Germany 15 Years IAESTE Ukraine Yulia Savchenko from my company in the laboratory IAESTE Ukraine 2008 from different countries, gathered in Aachen to take part in this original IAESTE competition. All schools competitors were divided into nine teams. Each team got a map and had to fulfil a number of exciting and funny tasks in specified places throughout the city, making photos and getting points for the team.

My language team won the competition! Another special activity we took part in was National dinner parties, which had already become an established tradition with TU Darmstadt IAESTE organization. Each trainee had to organize a dinner in a national style, some traditional national dishes had to be served. Though I had a poor experience in cooking Russian Course in Kiev, Ukrainian national dinner had to be prepared. After some training I learned to cook “"Sinen’kie sote" and "Hvorost". The national Ukrainian dishes and russian, which I cooked for the first time in Germany, satisfied the refined tastes of the strict IAESTE Tasting Committee school and the mark for the cooking task was "excellent".
